My name is Brandon Short and I’m currently 22 years old. I was born and raised and in the harden streets of Los Angeles, California, but just recently migrated south to Pacific Beach, San Diego. The move wasn’t just to be closer to a bunch of beautiful young people, a gorgeous beach community, and some of the wildest night life I’ve ever seen, but to be closer to my passion, which is paintball. The sport of paintball has literally taken over my life in every aspect. It’s dictated everything from my friends, income, and schedule. It’s given me the chance to meet some of the most interesting people in the world, travel to some of the most foreign places on the map, and learn how to become a winner.  

            I first started playing professional paintball while in high school with the Ironmen in 2004 at the tender age of 17. Being young and believing the grass is always greener on the other side; I quit the Ironmen at an attempt for the glory with my friends on Legacy. A year and a million welts later, I realized it wasn’t the right decision, so I rejoined the Ironmen. Ever since then I’ve been playing, promoting, and winning for the Ironmen and the best paintball company in the game, DYE Precision.

Enough about me, this is about the website…

            This website has been in the making for several years now. Last year was the first attempt at my vision, but I ran into many problems. The biggest difficulty is that I don’t speak computer and I had a very hard time updating my website without breaking it. This year with the help of Kenny Rosenberg, the problems have been solved. My dream of internet stardom is now at my finger tips. 

            The new Bshort5.com is the first time that the outside world will get a chance to experience a day to day basis of a professional paintball player’s life. That life being mine! However, I’m not going to just bore you with my doings, but the doings of my friends, paintball, and anything else interesting to write about. There’s going to be something for everybody here to enjoy. From pictures, videos, interviews, music, tournament reports, what’s hot, what’s not, Winston, special effects, traveling, and much more…
